About SKALP INK MICROPIGMENTATION

Skalp Ink Micropigmentation was founded by owner & SMP artist Rodney J Waters and is located in Maryland, Washington DC.
SMP was designed to assist individuals experiencing alopecia to avoid traditional hair loss alternatives such as wigs, hair units and surgical procedures.

Scalp micropigmentation (SMP) is the #1 non-invasive hair loss treatment to completely restore your hairline. We use tiny layered repetitious dots in different pigment hues to replicate the look of a shadow or fuller, thicker hair on your scalp. Our skilled technicians apply this cosmetic procedure that requires minimal to no down time.

At Skalp Ink, we use a premium all-natural organic pigment to ensure the best results. Unlike most cosmetic tattoo ink, our pigment is true to color and will not discolor but age between 6 to 8 years, depending on the individual.

We use these dots in conjunction with our pigment to ensure a natural, realistic hair follicle and seamless blend to compliment your complexion. This treatment can be used for people who encounter all male and female pattern thinning or balding. As well as all of this, it is used to camouflage any unwanted scars.

Finding the right artist to carry out your SMP treatment is vital. Skalp Ink and lead artist Rodney are one of the most sought-after artists and studios in Maryland, Washington, DC. Feel confident knowing you are in the safest hands and will get the best results.
